It occurred to me recently that having had a spate of apology threads for various players the one guy who deserves the biggest apology from many of you is the gaffer.

Never having doubted his abilities at any time, and only feeling the need to criticize him constructively rarely, the infamous Spurs substitution being the main occasion, this guy deserves the undying loyalty of us all for turning our great club round to this degree.

At some stage we could again find ourselves dropping points, it will happen as the phoney four know to their cost, when it does the little pain in the arse snippers will be at it again, his hasn't a clue on signings, tactically he is stupid etc. Join me and sign the pledge(y) (y) (y)

tbh i don't think it is a fault of his anymore.

think back to the pompy and chelsea games when we were under serious pressure and he reacted by making positive substitutions. at chelsea he brought on 2 strikers at half time and away to pompy he stuck johnson upfront with the yak and changed it around to a 442 defending from the front.

i think tx bill has always been the strongest supporter of moyes in these forums (closely followed by monty). i have always wanted to be behind him, but i've struggled with the 1-0 eeked out victories and dire football often seen.

i think now it is obvious to anyone to see that his 5 year plan has delivered. we now have a team capable of playing tough, but also capable of ripping a team apart any given saturday. some of our passing moves recently have been superb. quick one touch with good movement leaving the opposition bamboozled.

i think the next 5 years of moyes plan is to get the team up and playing in europe season in season out in the champions league. who is to say with the age of the squad and a couple of intelligent additions we can not have a proper go at the title in the next couple of years?

to sum up, moyes today is different from moyes a year ago. and if moyes can change so can i. i think people who still knock moyes are stuck in the past. in all honesty i don't think many can regret moyes arriving at everton anymore. he has proved himself and he was won me over.

top job done david moyes! well done!(y)

I have never ever doubted him for a second, obviously questioned some of his choice of starting lineups, but never would I want him replaced, not before and not anytime soon.

Things can change very quickly in football, but its quite clear that Moyes could have his pick of clubs after what he has done with us.

So yeah, he gets my loyalty definitely.

I have backed him since day 1. Even when we crashed out of Europe and went 10 or so games without a win, I stayed behind him and defended him in the TW mailbag and on the forums, receiving much abuse from the mailbag regulars, but I stayed the course, as did BK, and look at where we are now!
