The Crisp Buttie Cocktail.......

Right we hav'nt had a proper debate for a while. So here it go's.......


I love crisp sarnies. Now my fav mix is..... Ham an tomarto with sault an viniger crisps on top.The tomartos just make everythig soggy MMMmmmmmm.

Thing is i hate s + v crisps. Their the last pack i would normaly choose after ready saulted. But this mix just works and are so nice. Try it for yourself.

Now a lad in work today said his fav was....... Cheese,onion an mayo sandwich with prawn an cocktail crisps on top. FFS thats just wrong if you ask me.

So whats your fav mix? tell us the wierdest mix of crisp buttie you'v ever had.

Well back in the day it used to be :

2 thick slices of white bread cut off a loaf. Buttered.

Can of tuna on top of 1 slice of bread.

Tomato sauce spread over second slice.

Ready Salted crisps on top of tuna then second slice put on top.

Apply slight pressure to top of sandwich to mash the crisps up.

Eat and enjoy.

But cant eat that now so its just a boring cheese slice and quorn ham/chicken slice roll with tomato sauce and cheese crisps(baked not fried).

WHOLE packet of Seabrooke prawn cocktail on warburtons bread. One very lightly buttered side of the bread with clover. Place slice of preferred meat on top of said crisp bed and consume. My preference is corned beef slice.

Big fan of the sliced ham, cheddar and salad cream with those "Cool Ranch" doritos. It just works.

Salt and vinegar crisps are nicest on a hot and butter. Otherwise cheese and onion all the way. Only a little bit of margarine on a normal crisp butty, and stacked with some decent crisps (Walkers are pretty good).

Wholemeal or granary bread, with a couple of slices of roast beef, bit of mustard and ready salted McCoys crisps, squash it down with the palm of your hand , bite and enjoy its blissfulness.

McCoys BBQ chicken on brown bread with Anchor spreadable, a thin spread of salad cream and maybe one lettuce leaf depending on whether I feel guilty about eating crisp butties or not.

I do like crisp butties every now & then, I like ready salted crisps but things with a bit of flavour are usually the best for butties

The next time you're looking to make 1, put some cheese singles on buttered bread then add a packet of cheese quavers, it's [Poor language removed] brilliant
