Post your Yuletide Ailments in here folks.

I remember being sick for about 5 years running with PROPER Flu at Xmas Time, didn't eat a Xmas Dinner for years and a couple of years back spent most of Christmas day with fluids escaping from every possible exit point, 1 look at the Xmas Dinner was more than enough.

Anyway the Youngest started with a terrible dry cough over the weekend, just been down the Surgery and been told he has severe Tonsillitis, been given a 10 day course of a Penicillin derivative that has 23 letters in it's name & told that the other 2 kids will probably get it as it's Highly Contagious. So, he probs won't be able to go to a family party over the hols as there'll be about 15 kids there & his sister was letting him go to the game on Boxing Day which will probably be ruled out as well.

Nice one Airborne Infection, your timing couldnt be worse for an 8 year old.

I always used to have tonsillitis at Christmas, like yourself a few years running. Happy to say I have not had it in a few years now?

Unlucky mate, do they still whip out tonsils at the drop of a hat like they used to?

Despite the above hope you all have a great Christmas ;)
