Just looked at Wilder's record and he has done well at every level he has managed at, had no idea who he was before tbh. I suppose the issue would be how would our 'big' name players react to him as a coach... not that they are covering themselves in glory for our current coach anyway.

Either way it doesn't really matter, whoever it is will jsut come in and play 4-3-2-1, with ever slower patterns of play until we are all wiped out by global warming. and the nightmare finally ends.

I did say ‘unlikely’.

But yeah, he knows the club and I’d argue being unbeaten at the top of the Portuguese League and still in the cup with a newly promoted side in October is more impressive than being 12th in the Prem.

In any case, Wilder is not the right man for us.
