My guess is I expect Anderson to keep playing as he is so close to 700 and Warne's 708. If you have a target and perhaps now the decision that could have had to have been made (Broad or Anderson) has been cleared, he'll want to get to play the next three test series and by the end of the Sri Lanka one be second on the all time list.

He still managed one in this last knock. Playing the way England do now it'll always be a risk driving even at the good delivery. He just appears to get more inside edges than the others.

Broad is a legend for sure, but wouldn't mind a bit of focus on the game at hand here, hopefully the players are less broad-centric in their thoughts than the media, I'm sure Broad himself will be.

Bit weird for it to leak before the test is done. Could be a right distraction.

He seemed pretty stoic about it himself and I don't doubt his intentions are for the team. That being said, I'm not a huge fan of planned retirements with fanfare.

Getting the crowd whipped up might work for us today though
