The Ambition/Direction of our club

Player Valuation: £35m
The next few week is going to be telling as to what ambition and direction Mosheri wants this club to go in.

Next season a lot of clubs are going to strengthen their squads, I know people will say but we will as well, with Walsh and Sam here?

Wolves who have just been promoted have players coming out and saying they will be playing in Europe next year and the way they play and the personnel they are attracting I can’t see why not, they have a manager who plays fast flowing football.

If they are after Wiltshire and we are, we will struggle to get his services.

When Man city had money they got who they want, we have money and this Brands fella is dragging his feet.

City announced Pep in the Jan/Feb before he signed.

What do we do, we have Sam at the helm who is completely deluded and out of his depth, he has either has been told his job is safe or Mosheri still has not made his mind up, either way it say a lot of the clubs ambition or direction it wants

The club has to start acting like a big club and make some decisions very soon, because at the moment the fans who are very low at and with that lot across the park heading in the right direction, makes it more depressing.

Our fans need to let their feelings known to the board.

SHOW SOME AMBITION

Everyone picking in Sam, we all knew before he came what he was like, why don’t we make it clear to the board we aren’t happy with their lack of ambition and direction?

Sam is a disgrace of a man but this is the crux of it. The board including Moshiri are incompetent and I can only see our demise under him.

Moshiri is a mingebag, and I can only see our regression continuing under his stewardship.

I'm not saying Wolves won't come up and do very well, but let's be honest this conversation gets had every year. Watford were coming up with grand ideas and owners who meant business, Leicester's title win was going to catapult them beyond our reach, Swansea were everything we weren't, with a plan and an identity, and only 2 years ago people were arguing that Southampton were a bigger club than us. Now we're talking about boycotting games and letting the board know we won't accept this situation, while they're on a fast track back to League One with a manager I'd even back Allardyce over. Let's just see how things pan out before we start claiming every team and their dog is going to overtake us.

The bluff coming out of Wolves is the same bluff that comes out of every Middle East and Far East owned clubs
These lads live in Zatland where you play FIFA 18 all day long , throw money at players and you win everything.
Well QPR , Leeds , Watford and to an extent PSG have proved that this is not the case.
Cardiff were going to rule the world 5 yrs ago , City who are basically owned by a country took years to finally succeed
We have seen in our own case that money doesn’t solve everything.
When players are asked to pick from Wolves or an established PL side Wolves will realise Money can’t buy you love.
Moshiri has made mistakes , granted but as far as I can see they were done for the right reasons.
This summer will see if he has learned from his mistakes.
If he sacks FSA ,Walsh ,Kenwright and Elstone and hires a recognised DOF and an ambitious manager then we will see where it goes

This has been our problem, we have sat there and just said nothing. Can you imagine any of the top 6 clubs accepting this s#/te that we have put.up with.

Johnson
Kenwright
Mosheri?
Your right let's sit here for the next 30 years, you never know we may squeeze in a derby win in somewhere

I don't think this is fair tbh. Sam has come in and steadied us somewhat. It's hideous to watch and a situation we should never have been in, but he has fulfilled the brief and kept us reasonably secure in mid-table with a limited and/or unmotivated bunch of players. I want him gone in the summer, but let's not kid ourselves, we were exactly his depth when he took over

No, there's no correlation between fans kicking off and winning trophies. Hope this helps.

The main problem is Kenwright and his budeez are still here...they ALL need binning...get rid of the all the old school...Ferguson etc etc as well..Hate all this they get Everton bollox..blank page...got to try something very different ..

We need someone sensible to come in and hold Moshiris hand and give him some proper guidance, hopefully that's what we'll see the beginnings off in the summer. The issue is at the moment that he's being guided and influenced by people at the club that have embraced failure for years and years and try to get by on the occasional positive soundbite with no actual substance.

He needs to rid the club of the garbage that has infiltrated it at every level and rebuild properly using his own people. We've had a thread on here already about sentimentality at the club and I don't know another club that goes so out of it's way to keep that sentiment at the expense of actual success. It's like we've put all our effort into achieving the status of a club that does things in the right way but completely lost track of what we're in football for, to win trophies.

The Russian fella that he brought in seems to have his head screwed on when I've seen him interviewed, get some more professional people that can look at the cold hard facts of where we are, and not more ex Evertonians that can spout off loads about our history but actually add nothing to the club going forward.
