If anyone is interested.

Work won't let me go to A+E nor have any additional time to go and see a walk in beyond an hour, which is impossible to be seen in that time lets be honest.

So another day i can't get it looked at :(

I'm sure if Ricky Gervais got wind of Ash he could make a BAFTA winning series based on his daily exploits, look what he did with Derek.

Firstly, you boss sounds like a complete cockjacket.

Secondly, why didn't you just call in sick, or just text them saying you're heading straight to A&E, you'll be in when you're in.

You need to stand up to these bullies. Cos it's clear that's what's happening here.

i didn't buy them, someone passed them over to me. hence the giant scally trackie
After this one:

"So I need a defence lawyer, I've just been released after being charged with handling stolen goods, after my mate gave my a northface tracksuit that was too bigfor me. I was planning on giving it to my brother-in-law for Christmas, do you think the police'll give it back to me? I tried explaining to them that I didn't know it was stolen, but the officer thought I was threatening him and threw me to the floor instead."

Trying to avoid sick leave. the less I take the better so when I actually need it. like I was ill earlier in the year then my hand not too long after.

So not being able to walk properly and in constant pain doesn't count as actually needing it then? Feet < Hands.

Only one thing for it mate. Fake it, I mean really over do it and put it on. If it's as painful as you say it is, it could be something serious. You won't get any thanks for being a hero and you might be making it worse.

You don't have a finite number of sick days like holidays. If you're sick, you're sick.
His work may have a sickness/absence policy which means excessive sick leave is managed and may lead to disciplinary action.

Or he's just being a plum.

Possibly both.

I think they're trying to kill him off by scaring him into never going to the doctor in the hope that eventually a life threatening illness occurs. Granted it's a long term strategy but it's already working!

Not really when my job doesn't require me to walk, when it was my hand it was a different story but then at the same time i did go in after it happened for them to send me home.

I have a policy, so many within a period of time. Granted my work has been very supportive of this and never triggered the policy for me when they probably should have so in exchange for that i don't want to then push it the other way and take advantage. So as long as i am not sick and can get to work then i'll be here, try and make it til next year before the inevitable bug hits. the last one was a sinus infection and a chest infection at the same time, which kept me off for 2 weeks.

Yeah got a policy. Never triggered it so kinda want to extend the gaps between sick leave as much as possible. Hell i had to book the day off as holiday when my daughter had her heart procedure as i knew about it in advance.

lol that is their advice, go the GP. Except the gp would probably take a week just to get me to the point of booking an appointment.

I have emailed a podiatrist before so i am hoping he can get back to me with a rough diagnosis from my symptoms (or ask me to come to clinic) and then at least i can go wlak in and advise them a little of what it could be to get some sort of the right treatment.
