Defeated ROBOCOP in the Quarters. 44 (89.8%) to 5 (10.2%) (49 total).
Defeated TERMINATOR 2 in the Semis. 41 (67.2%) to 20 (32.8%) (61 total).
Terminator 2 provided the toughest challenge thus far to Die Hard, but in the end Bruce Willis prevailed with 2 votes for every 1 that Arnie got.
The 80's flick now comes up against what could be argued to be a surprise finalist in The Matrix - could an upset be on the cards?
THE MATRIX (1999)
Won the ROUND 8 ROYAL RUMBLE in Round One. 17 VOTES (27.4%) (62 total).
Participated in a score draw with PREDATOR in the Quarters. 29 votes each.
Won the SEMI FINAL TRIPLE THREAT against PREDATOR and RAIDERS (16 to 15 to 13 votes).
The Matrix finally separated itself from Predator after being neck and neck with Arnie over the last two rounds, nicking the win by a single vote - whilst shrugging off the mammoth presence of Indiana Jones.
As such, The Matrix has taken the hardest route to the final out of the two competitors - but John McClane now awaits.
