The absence of a team core or backbone

I think if am perfectly honest its time to move on from Jags as a captain, he retreats into a hole faster then the majority of the team when things are going wrong.

Give it to Coleman, he is probably the only one I can think of who shows the slightest bit of passion for playing for this club.

Got to make sure his leg is fully attached first.

In regards to the topic, Lennon shows a bit of fight I suppose.

At least he has an element of snide and knows a bit of game management.

Miles ahead of Davies and Gana for me.

McCarthy is one of the most spineless players we have, I know he's not played for ages so it's easily forgotten, but can you not remember how disgraceful he was at the end of Martinez's last season? And the first half of last season too? He's one of the worst and most obvious down toolers in the squad.

None of our players have a spine, let alone the team. And how haven’t people learned that McCarthy plays one game and then is out for the next 10 yet lol

..coincidentally, my son made this point to me this morning. I did post a month or so that every team has a core of 5 or 6 regular starters, we clearly don’t. I just think we are lacking a full skeleton not just a backbone.
