Only chance we have of watching a decent everton side next season
and this past season.

They were decent this past year, definitely a step up from previous. It will be interesting to see what comes this season. Making the leap from 6th to, say 4th, means less room for error and stronger finishing. Goal diff to 5th place (Aston Villa) was -17, and to 4th (Man City) was -32!

Looking forward to seeing who else joins the team, how the manager's plans come forth and the results they produce.

I think if we would have beat Villa on the 5th march (a game we lost) we would have got 5th, as we would have been 2points ahead of villa with a game in hand that day. The amount of points last season was the 2nd higest amount the Top Tier in over a decade and in reality 5th is probably the highest any other Team bar the usual Top 3 and Man Utd will get, Form dropped a lot large parts of the 2nd part of the season after xmas not helped by Huge gaps in Fixtures - we had only conceded 16 goals in 16 games till mid april but then let in 20 the final 6 games and even had the best Away defence in the whole league till just after mid April
