The 2012 Other Clubs Summer Transfer Window Thread

Talksport have Liverpool as the 10th biggest European spenders of the summer window, splashing out £28,292,000 net. Out have gone Maxi, Kuyt, Adam, Bellamy, Aquilani, Spearing and Carroll to be replaced by Allen, Borini, Assaidi, Sahin and Yesil. I thought that they'd been fairly conservative but they're only about £300k behind Barca (Alba, Song). Only Southampton, City, United and Chelsea have laid out more than them in the Premier League. We don't know what their new boys are going to be like but just one of their permanent signings is over the age of 22 and it's a lot to ask them to step into the boots of experienced professionals.

i would only say kuyt and bellamy is the exerience being replaced there and even they were on the bench most the time. you need to have a squad with players like to change a game from the bench though. they have had a disasterous transfer window from my POV. the only bright signing sahin has been conducted shoddily as well. the reason they moan about their owners is when they see the amounts of what city, chelsea and man utd spend and believe they should be up there with them. when in reality, virtually all the clubs in the world will look upon their spending powers and liverpool's with envy

Nani on the verge of 25m Zenit move . wow Zenit are building quite a squad

possibly Moutinho also arriving .. seems Spalletti is going allout for the CL this year.

Should they be worried that their "global advisor" seems to be Indian, when their Indian owners are intent on destroying them? The whole scenario is ridiculous. They seem to be making no attempts to make it back into the Premier League.

If you don't know who he is, why not google him ?
