Quick poll to see who posters would want to start in the 10.

Personally I dont find KDH effective whatsover and think he's best in a 2 with a DM behind - as he doesnt have a defensive mindset imo. We dont even play that way so I dont know why he was signed.

As I've said many times, it's Alcaraz for me as he's far more direct and we need an X-Factor. Dibling has been a 10 in youth teams and it could be a good way to integrate him, rotating with Alcaraz.

Rohl may be a wildcard Fellaini / Soucek Moyes type 'big athletic' player.

Some have said they want Ndiaye or Grealish there. Others mention Iroegbunam (thats beyond my comprehension).

I've added McNeil as the 'cheese on toast' option.
Or play KDH in his preferred role and don’t play an anonymous player behind an anonymous centre forward

Where's the option for "No 10 at all"?

I would guess Moyes would be hoping Rohl pans out to be his Soucek/Fellaini type player arriving in the box late and getting on the end of headers and volleys. His thought might be that we dont need a creative #10 as we have creativity coming in off the wings in the shape of Grealish, N'Diaye and one day Dibling.
He clearly does not trust Charly there and KDH plays a different game altogether.
no one really knows what Moyes is thinking, including himself.

Thats what I could see based on Fellaini & Soucek.

Others would have Rohl as a 6 or an 8.

Certainly an interesting topic imo and especially so as we have a number of players who could be used as a 10.

At least 3 of them are better suited than KDH imo.

I went with Alcaraz but Röhl would be interesting there. As others have said, changing the system might help. Possibly with a midfield three of Rohl, KDH and Tim, with Garner moving to RB.

That's unfair on cheese on toast.

….poor Zat, desperate for Alcaraz votes. Where’s the Doucoure option, still haven’t got over that goal at Forest

We don’t play a conventional no10 so it’s a bit of a daft survey. In the present system, KDH is possibly the only option.
Yeah, we are a pretty rigid
4-2-3-1.
France won a world cup with it, so it can work.

Moyes has played a
4-4-1-1 which a lot of the time was a
4-5-1 .

A 'ten' usually plays off and in close partnership to the striker.

As Zat says that's where we get the best out of Alcaraz, but we aren't set up that way and happens by chance rather than instruction mostly.
