Chose: Feel low option, I feel that along with disappointment and a bit of realisation.

Where I work we have loads of courses set out for us and the joke is if you look down the student list and you can't find the class idiot well hey it might be you.

When the Europa Groups came out I with I would think most of you like me looked at our Group and instantly thought Limassol were the whipping boys, well hey I seriously think the others are now looking at us like we are rabbits in the headlights.

I am all for giving a manager some time but there also comes a time just like it did with Martinez when a boss reaches that stage where it's like they have now been pushed out onto the top of the slippy slide and the next 3 or 4 results could well decide their fate.

Will there be a drastic turn in our fortunes allowing RonKo to step back from the brink or do we continue our woeful form and he gathers pace down that slide and it all falls apart as it did with Martinez.

How can we go from the euphoria of Saturday evening to the empty feeling and disbelief I'm walking about with today.

I've been a supporter of Ron since he came here and I'm always a glass full guy but I'm now seriously having my doubts about him and await an immediate and drastic change of fortunes to win me back around.

I feel, low, angry, humiliated, expect to be let down.

I also feel love, hence the other current feelings, why do we get so emotionally invested in a ruddy football team.

Not as bad as I did under Martinez but still not good, at least he is not telling me all is fine and dandy like his predecessor.

I know we're poo and so does Ron but can he turn it around ?? Martinez would be saying everything is fine which was delusional and insulting.

11 players kicking a ball about is just a physical manifestation of something bigger, something that cannot be seen, but can be felt. Its a special energy. Everton Football Club have this energy in spades, which is why Evertonians are so attached to the club.

For every Liverpool 4-4 and win the 2nd replay there's a West Ham awaiting.. for Gosling's winner there's Reading just around the corner.. and, when Palace (or Watford) await us... we blow it against United.

Oh, hang on.. City 3-1 up.. ball out of play (no!!!!!!!!!!!!) but still, we dodged the RS bullet at Wembley
Clive Thomas, Collina, Clattenbasstad, Atkinson - when we're not busy being s...e we're just plain unlucky.

I always expect Everton to let me down. I am a positive thinker in the main and Everton sort of go against the grain of that.

The sad part is that most of my generation in my family support Everton. The youngsters though all follow Manchester United. And who really can argue against it, especially when we bring back 'Everton fan' Wayne Rooney now that he has achieved everything at Old Trafford. And Lukaku makes the same journey, looking magnificent so far.

We have fallen away sadly, not quite fully, but enough to entrench as mid-table fodder.

I am just glad I mangaged to get out of the habit of spending obscene amounts of money watching it and buying merchandise.
Having a family of my own made me prioritise. It would need a serious title challenge for me to rethink that stance now.

My season ticket days were back in the 90's and it was bloody misery at times but I don't remember it feeling as bad as last night. We now have a manager who puts out a side as bad as anything Walter Smith dished up but RonKo has resources at his disposal that WS would have killed for. I'd love for him to come out and explain what the thinking is behind recent starting XI's.

Expectations have been raised and apparently nothing will ever be the same. It's the hope that kills you.

You can always rely on Everton to let you down. I guess that's true of most teams though. All fans want their teams to be great at all times, but, like everything in life, football goes in cycles. Teams have spells when they are the dogs and spells when they are exasperating. I just think it has been far too long since we were the dogs.
