I'm on Terry's for the semi. Bit disappointed he's leaving at 9.30am, can't see us getting to Wembley before 3pm.

I couldn't care less about going so it certainly isn't envy.

If his 5yo is capable of understanding all the nuances of a football match then fair enough. I was 5 when we lost to Utd in the 85 final. Do I remember that day? Not a bit of it.

This kid might be able to say in years to come 'I was there' but that ticket could've easily been taken by someone who truly understands the event and its significance.

Nope. But having received a corpy for the 09 final knowing there were far more worthy recipients than me, and feeling decidedly guilty about taking it, I personally wouldn't be taking my 5 yo in the same situation.

I'm taking my lad. He's not 7 till the end of the month but I can honestly say I'm looking forward to seeing his face when he gets in the ground a lot more than anything else about the day. You never know when the next chance to go back might be.
