The BBC have announced Terry Venables has died.

I remember wishing he would become England manager again around the time Sven was in charge.

Always seemed like a top bloke as well.

RIP Terry Venables. Former Palace player, coach under Malcolm Allison, manager of the best young Palace team ever, England manager (then sadly, and rather shabbily) Palace manager again.
I believe he also managed some minor Spanish outfit who play in red’n’blue as well.

Was a decent player as well. Played the game with a sile on his face. There was a lot of characters in the game then an el Tel was one of them.
