Player Valuation: £50m
According to a lad on Kipper this is the team, he's been right on the last two occasions looking at his posts.

-----------------------Howard------------------------

Neville----------Yobo----------Jagielka----------Lescott

---------------Fellaini----------Castillo-----------------

Anichebe----------------Cahill--------------------Arteta

------------------------Yakubu-------------------------

I know, there's a lad on Kipper who always is spot on regarding team line-up. Believe he has a source at Finch Farm, but Anichebe as a right mid? Looks like a physically very strong team though. Just gonna steamroll Stoke then, I presume.:D

He doesnt have over 20 posts, so hes talking [Poor language removed]. IT would be stupid to start Cahill without any games, and drop Baines instead of Lescott - as recently, Baines has been the better.

Ignore it all. Also Yobo is apparently out.

Look at his posts, he's got the last three teams spot on. He's made three threads about team news, It wouldn't suprise me if he is right. It doesn't really matter how many times he's posted.

Moyes brought Cahill back early last time against Larissa, he hadn't played in any reserve games or anything like that.

Also Lescott is quite simply a better left back than Baines, there is also the height. Stoke are a physical team and we'll need as many tall players on the pitch as possible to defend against there long throws and set pieces.

The post count always counts!! For example when Gazdalf said about hte Arshavin thing he had over 1000 posts, and we believed him, however if someone who had 10 posts said it the thread wouldve been locked :P

it would look much better using the same players in this formation.

Howard

Neville Yobo Jagielka Lescott

Castillo

Cahill Fellaini Arteta

Anichebe Yakubu

now that looks believable as if I recall correctly Cahill has played a few games for the socceroos wide right.

I think we might go like this:

-----Fellaini-----Castillo-----Arteta-----

-----------------Cahill-----------------

---------Anichebe-----Yakubu---------

I'd like to see that, three centre mids and Cahill in his attacking midfield, deep lying striker role where we get the best out of him.

Arteta in the middle where he can get involved and control things. We don't play with any width anyway so that would suit us and suit the players we have playing.

Yeah that's a better idea then the blue kipper one. I refuse to believe that David Moyes would play Anichebe wide right, I can understand AJ playing wide right. But not Anichebe, he doesn't have that sort of pace to play there. He only seems to be able to last 30-35 minutes before he looks flat out. He would look much worse on the wing because he would have to do alot more running.

If this guy does have insider info then it would be good to see Cahill fit enough to start. We desperately need him back in midfield the sooner the trio of Arteta, Cahill and Pienaar are all back and playing together in the same midfield the better I'll feel about this season.

Tbh, Anichebe would be quite good on the wing, strength, pace, if he just sorted his touch out he would be good...but if this is true...the formation would just be a diamond formation;

Howard

Neville - - Yobo - - Jagielka - - Lescott

Castillo

Arteta - - - Fellaini

Cahill

Anichebe - Yakubu

With Arteta and Fellaini staying in the centre, drifting out to the wing sometimes...but it would be the full backs main priority to fill that gap in midfield at every opportunity.

Anichebe played on the right against Alkmaar. He didn't start off there but had too because Gravesen wasn't covering Hibbert and to be honest he couldn't run.

He did a decent job, covered his fullback well and kept the ball on the right. Not sure what he'd be like in the Prem in that position I'm sure he'd do a better job than Baines who looked completely lost.

I'd rather we went 4-3-1-2 to be honest, I like the idea of Arteta playing in the middle of a three man midfield, he'll get involved more and the likes of Castillo and Fellaini can do the dirty work.

I remember we used a diamond against Werder Bremen, Arteta played as a left centre midfielder and was a class above anyone on the pitch. He had a great game in that position.
