Team vs QPR

Would be madness to rest Kev in my opinion; the confidence and form he's in he needs to be let loose on teams not preserved on the bench, which will only frustrate him and potentially affect his form. We need to take 1 game at a time

This would be my team:

------------Howard-------------
-Coleman-Jagielka-Distin-Baines
-Mirallas-Gibson-Osman-Pienaar
------------Fellaini----------------
-----------Anichebe---------------

This game is make it or break it in my opinion and could be the factor in finishing above The ****e, must win. 3-1.

QPR are going to fly at Everton from the first minute on Saturday, and anything less than a win will put an end to any chance of finishing fourth before the Arsenal game even kicks off. Moyes needs to pick a strong team.

Howard
Coleman - Jagielka - Distin - Baines

Barkley - Fellaini - Gibson - Pienaar

Anichebe - Mirallas

Barkley wasn't great on Sunday but Osman needs taking out, and if Fellaini's up front it'll just be ninety minutes of Distin and Jagielka hoofing the ball to Samba.

Qpr are their own worst enemy, they are capable of scoring but also conceding a few. Having seen their last 2 games on sky they will go all out attack, but vulnerable at the back. Twitch doesn't seem to know what their best team is, but they have 3 squads to pick from.

I would like more of a 4-3-3;

Howard
Baines Jagielka, Distin Coleman
Heitinga Fellini Gibson
Mirallas Jelevic Anichebe

I think as the home team we need to take the game to them and if we score early they will panic. Hopefully we can get 3 up at half time, make some changes, take off Mirallas for Naismith and Anichebe for Barkley and go to a 4-5-1 for the rest of the game. Maybe even give Velios a go for the last 10 minutes

I would play: Howard, coleman, jags, distan, Baines, pienaar, fellaini, gibson, mirallas, osman, Anichebe.

But moyes will swap osman and fellaini so he can have a target men.

Heitinga in midfield? Ahead of Pienaar? I would respectfully disagree.

Watching the Spurs game clarified a couple of things:

1) Baines has more freedom to attack with Pienaar in front of him.
2) Heitinga, whilst solid defensively, provides no value in terms of attacking, or even maintaining possession. His dribbling, passing and use of space are not good enough for a midfielder.
3) Our other midfielders are not individually talented enough to allow us to play light in that area of the field.

If Heitinga wants to play in midfield then he has to play INSTEAD of Gibson, alongside Fellaini in a 4231. If Heitinga plays in a midfield three all that will happen is that he will sit deep, in front of the CBs, and the remaining two CMs will get swamped. Your 433 would essentially become a 523 with Baines and Coleman pinned back and Jags and Distin hoofing for all they're worth.

/FM12 off

Mucha
Coleman Jags Distin Baines
-----Gibbo--------
-----------Fellaini-----
Mirallas-----------Peanuts
----------Narls Barkley---
-------Chebes--------

Resting Mirallas for Arsenal BTW

I don't see why we would rest anyone. If resting Mirallas would mean not having our strongest team out and ultimately we draw and his inclusion could of avoided the draw then why take that risk? If we don't win on Saturday then resting players for Arsenal would of been pointless as we'll be out the race for 4th.

Mate you are forgetting something, Felli and Pienaar are back so it doesn't mean Mirallas is essentially the difference whether we win or not. QPR is a winnable game even without Mirallas.

We lost in the Premier League... against a side with Patrick Agyemang up front, he's even sh*tter than his name sounds, and that's saying something.
