just noticed a thread from the guy shorty on nsno not sure if hes a player if not hes certainly closely connected with the club seems absolutely gutted over mikel leaving. Looks like moyes is gonna have a job on his hands getting the players morale up.

you mean theyre gonna look more lost and clueless than the QPR game....................pah! impossible
 

A lot of the players seem gutted he's gone, just like us fans, but there not payed to dwell on it!. Get over it, EVERYONE, and move the fcuk on. Good players have come and gone in the past and will keep on doing so but you've to forget about em and do your own thing. The main dinominator(sp) here is Everton, no one player is bigger or more important than the club!. Yeah weve lost a good player but lets move on.

THIS ! I remember when Bob Latchford was sold there was a wailing and gnashing of teeth, we got over it and will do so again.

They probably are gutted about Mikel but they're professional footballers and this sort of thing comes with the territory. I hope they use all this negativity surrounding the club and use it to motivate the players, "backs against the Walls, coming out fighting" etc I'd love to see a real spirited performance against villa, get the crowd up for it and show us that they care

who is peddling all this rubbish- its ONE player ffs. dave prentice waffled on about it in todays echo. d!ckhead. we got good money for a 29yr old. ffs imagine if we had portsmouths problems, would we all die coz we`re lily-livered softies. get the fck on with it. COYB

I find the newspapers theory that now we've sold arteta, we're automatically in a relegation dogfight. It's from one extreme to the other and some where in the middle is where the truth is.
