What you have to bear in mind with this particular TS slot, is this;
1. It is probably their 2nd highest ratings one. (Amazing really, but more to do with folk driving home than the quality of it), so they have to keep the Spurs/Arse/Sky clubs as conversation pieces. Most football fans have zippo interest in our ownership.
2. Durham's MO is to get "fans" of said clubs calling in after he has banged on about some performance or transfer or whatever, again, about mainly the Sky clubs.
E.G. Durham; "Liverpool bottled their penalties on Sunday. What German influence there from Klopp?"
Liverpool "fan" from Kent. "It will be our year next year. Rogers signings, etc etc."
The only time I have actively kept listening after I finished work, (4.20 ish), was when he had the Peterborough chairman on. I know, his club. But it was actually pretty interesting.
He is click bait on the radio.
