Okay, I know this is a naive question, but it's one borne of desperation. I was at the Stoke game and I don't think I can sit through many more games like that. Anyway, what has happened to the impending takeover? For weeks there was speculation and then suddenly nothing. Was there ever any substance to the rumours? Is there any substance to the rumours? Or were we just being duped - again?

I have been working 24/7 thinking of a witty response to this thread. There have been many conversations but none of them have had the desired wit for this thread. I am a witty guy but in the new era of this forum I just cannot compete, I mean, I am not a stand up comedian or anything I am just a blue who wants to laugh with his mates in a thread that does this great forum proud. Who knows, maybe tomorrow i'll meet a bobby davro or ken Dodd bu until then we just keep pushing on with bad puns and double entendres
