I don't know enough about our debts to come close to voting yes, but considering our losses the last three years, our wage to turnover ratio, and needing a bajillion dollars to finish building a stadium, we could definitely be looking at some Derby style points deductions. Then from there you can't get back up within the timeframe of the parachute payment and then it just gets worse from there.
Selling Pickford, Onana, Calvert-Lewin, Tarkowski, whoever else would only give us funds to cancel other players' contracts or pay their wages to loan them out. If we somehow managed to avoid a financial disaster and a points deduction, we would still have to rely on either a sale or a major investment and then rely on either the new owners or investors to install a competent board, rely on that board to pick a good coach, all while navigating the cluster f*#$ of sorting our expensive contracts out. That ain't all happening on one summer. Fantasies of coming straight back up with a competent board, slimmed down squad and exciting coach are just that...fantasies.
