Not the most trustworthy of sites but something to discuss.
I've heard the lad is good but can't recall ever really watching him play. I have also heard it be said he is a cash man.

He seem's like a good player, i'd be happy with him to replace Anichebe who really should go out on loan to learn how to play Football.

Rumour is Anichebe will be sent out on loan if Smith comes in.

Cash player is a money man in front of goal. Scores quite a bit from his opportunities.

I'd rather have Anichebe than Smith, Anichebe actually scores a reasonable amount of goals. Smith doesn't score at all whether he's in midfield or upfront.

On Ebanks-Blake, I'd definatly take him. He's very quick, strong and has decent technique for Championship player. He's certainly got a few tricks about him anyway from what I've seen and he's hardworking. I'd love him here, him or Bent would be our best options.

Be a lot cheaper than Darren Bent also, even though i could not see Spurs letting him go with the form he has been in.

easily the cheaper option and not that big of a gamble (just the step up) as the lad has an eye for goal.

Seriously?! Vic managed 1 goal in the prem didn't he? And that was for playing in a team that finished 5th. This year he needs to step up or be sold.

Granted Smith is no great shakes, but he'd deffo get more goals if you played him up front all season. His record for Leeds and M.Utd up front wasn't all bad. I'd say he would work harder than Vic, and his strength is surprising.

I remember when he first came on the scene and he was holding defenders off, but he looked like a runt?!

He scored 5/6 goals last season, that's a decent record for a 5th choice striker which is what he is.

Smith has scored no goals since 2005, that is a terrible record and people seem to brush over the fact that he's had quite a few games upfront in that time. He had spells ufront under both Keegan and Allardyce aswell as Ferguson towards the end of his Utd career.

His goalscoring record at Leeds was never good, 38 goals in a 172 appearences and only 7 goals at Utd.

So yes I would rather have Victor, Victor despite what people say actually scores goals and can change games from the bench.

Top scorer in the uefa for us where he had more chance to impress. He just needs a run in the team
