True Jags was as bad but he also got his head down and worked hard and improved
 

A poor mans lescott. Good luck though, dustbin and if you talk ill about my Everton at the end of the season I will kick 7 shades of shyte outta ye.
 
There's clearly more than a grain of truth in all these apparent incidents (no smoke without fire and all that plus Johnny is out of Step) but on the other hand the image he has portrayed when we have seen him of late has been ok. When the first team squad were training on the ground he looked happy enough and mixed in (though I only saw video). We had these rumours before about the likes of Heitinga though and every club has them.

Guess we couldnt get anyone in to replace him in jan so ended up keeping him here in case of emergency
 

I'm gutted tbh, Distin has been an outstanding defender for us, yeah he hasn't been great this season but the guy bleeds blue just like us and for some to come out and rip into him is a bit out of order.

Let's be honest there's a good chance Distin wouldn't have single handedly put us out of Europe like Alcaraz did but yet Alcaraz is in the squad every week and will probably get a new one year contract.

I'm a big Distin fan and I think he atleast deserves a bit of credit instead of ripped into.

That's like saying Cahill doesn't either, yeah Cahill done all the headline catching stuff but I think Distin has been just as influential at the back, probably one of the best centre halfs in the league a few years ago.
