Providing the 3 other ahead of him now stay fit, id say he will get a cheerio game at the end of the season to say cheerio to the fans which would be deserved in my opinion. Its not like we will playing for anything, and we should be safe enough to its just pride and would be happy for a final run out for him.

Regardless of whats happened, he's been good value for money and at most times has been a decent defender. Quick n Strong with hint of madness.

Still think he will serve more time with us than Roberto will
 

Distin has been great for us and I've been glad he's work the Everton colours for so long. We're all of us getting older - but nobody knows when it will catch up with us so we shouldn't blame him, or Martinez. He was totally sound last season, so why not offer an extension - totally reasonable. Some players have managed to keep it going longer - look at Giggs.

I played centre back for years, I remember the day a striker outpaced me to the ball for the first time. I was 32 and suddenly realised I wouldn't be able to play the game I loved for ever. I had to drink a stupid amount of beer to console myself after the match.

I'm not upset with him because he's on the decilne, it's the apparent attitude and dust-ups he's had with Martinez.
By all accounts he went AWOL and spat his dummy out when he wasn't picked.

There seems to be a lot of situations that have apparently happened at Everton recently and accounts of things that players have said and done, these things always happen when a team is doing bad. If anything i can half see it from the players point of view because the way Martinez seems to have managed the side this season, from man management too tactical, has been terrible.
 
Distin's bones just can't support the three tonnes of muscle and forehead that he lugs around with him. Was immense last couple of seasons eh? Looked so laboured though this year and bricked himself everytime the ball fell to him, slicing it as hard as he could into the upper tiers. Him and jags were a car crash combo. Hopefully Bobby has him wrapped up in police tape and chalk and will ship him off to the championship in the summer.

Good servant for the club though... will be sad to see him go (old boss Sylvy, not new tea lady sylvy)
