So do I. That's only a recent development, though. Before this season I didn't really have a problem with him.

Absolute abomination of a footballer, with Stones, alacaraz back fit and browning being so highly thought off, this sham of a footballer should be no where near the squad let alone the first 11.

Time to pack him off to the glue factory or at least back to his milk rounds

he has been a good player for us,to many errors lately goalkeeper not helping out from crosses not helping either.
looking at the 3rd yesterday he wasnt aware of his or anybody elses position only had to step up and the player was off

It's a shame to see such a previously good player fall in to decline. I thought he'd turned the corner in the Wolfsburg game and was motm for me but since then he's gone back to the form he showed at the start of the season. He's clearly not suited to playing from the back and his confidence is gone.cant see him playing many more games for us now that stones is fit

Yes and Stones is injured but why not give Browning a run out at CB? Could he be any worse?

I cannot believe that we have a 37 year old in our defence.

Time to move on - when Jags plays left centre back for England why can he not play the same role for us? Then Stones plays at RCB or Browning. We do not need to play Distin.

I just hope RM makes changes in the January window.

RM did drop Distin but had to bring him back as we were shipping alot of goals and Stones got injured.

never liked distin since the FA cup semi final, just an old man which in which his age has finally caught up, done well overall but this season he has been well and truly bummed

Honestly if Martinez is insistent on keeping Barry in the side and the other CBs aren't fit, I'd drop him to left centre back and Barkley into midfield alongside Besic. Reduces the three No10s problem, and keeps Distin out of harm's way for a bit.
