swp isnt an evertonian obviously so if you look at it from his point of view a loan to us is the best choice. A season of playing regulary may show him to be a great player and prove to chelsea they should keep him. If they deciede not to then hopefully he'll be happy to stay by then anyway. just a thought!

totally agree blue wiz, if we could get him another decent winger and a holding midfielder before the end of the week then things will suddenly look very promising. I wont hold my breath though

As I have been saying on here all summer, due to no alternative, I think the club will proceed with Kirkby despite the call in. In other words, the call in just added to the cost, rather than put an end to it.

we need a lot of players , if chelsea are willing to let swp go on loan (with an option to buy) then thats saves us 10 million to go towards buying another quality player.
