Swansea's USA USA USA revolution

I have nothing against Swansea but what do the actually expect to achieve their history consists of signing Bob Latchford and winning the Welsh cup

Did extremely well at Stabæk, but other than that he hasn't really done anything at club level.. Strange to sack a manager 7 games into the season as well, especially if you look at the teams they've played so far.

Surprised at that appointment, PL will be an enormous culture shock to Bradley however theoretically "prepared" he is. I thought Rudi Garcia was linked yesterday, he would have been far more pragmatic for them.

Probably gonna sign his son then...

Good luck to them.

His son is making 5M/year in Toronto, he isn't going anywhere. Kind of a curious move for midseason. He plays counter a lot and Swans don't really do that. Can't sat I watched any Norweigan, Egypt or LaHarve matches though so maybe he can play different styles.

He's also considered to be pretty adept at finding bargain basement (say Championship level) talent and coaching them up. I thought he'd be a good fit at Villa.

On the other hand at all his non-US stops it appears that he's been well-liked. So we'll see. Can't be any worse than McClaren, Sherwood or the other rejects. I'd take Bradley any day over someone like Pardew.

It's a huge jump from Norwegian football to the rigours of the PL. Ole Gunner was fated as a new star manager and look how that turned out.

I may ultimately be wrong, however I think this will most likely push Swansea into a relegation fight they'll not get out of, now or next season.
