Suspensions

Obviously under the totting up process five yellow cards is a one match suspension. Is this for league football only or do bookings gained in other matches count?

If it's league only then we're not too badly off with only Pienaar (4) close to a suspension. If it's all competitions however we have a few getting close, such as Hibbert, Cahill, Neville and Carsley.

Any idea how it works?

I thought they all count Bruce as Arteta was suspended for the cup game Chelsea, while i rember Denis Irwan missing the FA cup final a few years back by getting booked against the [Poor language removed]!

I think European matches and cards are only relevent in europe though! While the cups and leauge count in all compitions. I think im right in saying everyone returns to scratch in March sometime.

Ok, well in domestic competitions we have:

Hibbo 4 yellows
Cahill 4
Neville 3
Pienaar 4
Carsley 3

It was a shame Pienaar couldn't get himself booked before he went off to the ANC.

Surprising that Nev and Cars only have 3 id pretty much expect Cahill to have four alright, how he hasnt been sent of more often i dont know hes forever on a yellow!

Personally i think refs have been favouring us a lot since the derby! (suddenly surrounded by conspirosy theorists)
