Or a learning curve for a talented manager who wont repeat it again, imo.

I dont get why we have to detract from a EL campaign that was very good.

Other (possibly better) European clubs went out that night with bigger aggregate defeats. I wonder if they get pulled to bits on the back of it? That's just the nature of European two leg footy, I'm afraid mate.

The two teams I fancied ending our European run were Kiev and Fiorentina. How ironic that if we had beaten Kiev we would have drawn Fiorentina...

It'll get renewed, we don't have any choice! - he has played this season, we don't have anyone to come into that position immediately. Martinez likes the lid.
I just cant see that. A new CB bought and one of Browning/Galloway coming through + Jagielka and Stones. It has to be.

I would love to agree, but neither will be a first team next season - a potential replacement for both Jags & Antolin? For sure!

There's a lot of quality in that competition now. The CL spot that goes with the trophy is making it much more difficult to progress in the EL.

We did well, I think we have to give our players some credit, tbf.

tbf people posted the same thing to show we were going down. truth is only the real table after 38 games matters
Too true mate.

Goat's just pining for Vitor. He'll never give up on that man becoming Everton boss. But we will remain an armband free-zone.

If there are two or three nailed on to leave I think it has to be Distin, Alacarez and McGeady.

I cant believe any of those will still be here come August next season.

He gave Hibbo a new contract remember.

He gave Hibbo a new contract remember.

I'm trying to forget it.

TBF, we had Browning (maybe) who could have come in for Coleman, so retaining Hibbert wasn't that mad.

Retaining Alcarez will be mad. He's decent on a technical level given time on the ball, but he's proven beyond question he cant cut it even as a stand-in at PL level this season.

He's out of contract. If he had a season to run then yeah, I could see RM sticking with him. Imo, there's little chance of him being kept on.
