Hi All,

Please see below for the venue for the Qld get together in Surfers Paradise on Saturday 7th Feb, stacks of replies have come in so it should be a great day (weekend) out with Blues confirming and flying in from Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney (the equivalent of flying across Europe for a day out!!!) aswell of course as Queensland Blues.

We will be meeting at the club/venue from 2pm

The day out will compromise of a BBQ, watching and supporting a local footy team, watching a few games, entertaining the the kids with more Barbie, soft drinks and snacks and if anyone can carry on then off to the Surf Club to watch the Bolton game on Fox.

Additional details will follow but a great response so far and really looking forward to a proper 'ESCA Day Out'

The address of the footy club is Bob Singh sports complex, which is off Pizzey drive, off Oceanic Drive, Miami, once you are on Pizzey drive turn first left after the tennis courts, then follow the road round till you see the playing fields, the turn off for Pizzey drive is at a roundabout.

Glad to hear Wetherspoons is still goiong however I don't think I could ever cope with a UK winter although I think that's case with many over there as ESCA is growing on a daily basis these days with expats constantly signing up.

I don't know how to upload the Meter Maid photo's but they're on the everrtonfc.com.au homepage and in the social events section if someone can copy them on to this site, little write up about the day which was superb with over 70 blues turning up, one bloke and his wife drove for two days just to have a day out!
