has to be on the scale of those 6 tier pics though.

was looking today at the stadium in sydney where origin was being played (arl Olympic 1) theyre redeveloping it to make the inside rectangular & it's gonna have different modes dependant on who's playing, theyre having those light boards in the top deck so that when only using downstairs for club games they can be used 'to effect'

Looks superb, love it. The real Theatre of Dreams. Without that Kop-copy, please. And maybe could even work with a revomable lowest tier of stands so Commonwealth Games and athletics would be possible. The only bad thing would be that it would be almost impossible to expand the capacity. We would likely have to build the stadium bigger than we initially need.

I like it. I have always wondered why more stadiums don't build upwards, rather than outwards in the quest to squeeze as many people into smaller footprints.

I really like it. The atmosphere would be great. Especially now Moshiri is at the helm.

I think safety wise it's a bit dodge, e.g someone in the top tier falling over having had a bit much ale/celebrating. What is great is the idea that not every stand is the bloody same like at etihad, emirates, olympic stadium.

I think the most interesting part of the article says you can fit a 55,000 seater stadium on a smaller footprint, that's ideal for the docks and the associated leisure that'll be required to go with the development.

I'd think if you replaced the top most tier with a band of glassed-off corpy boxes, perhaps with a single row of seats in front of the box, the phone would be white hot with demands for bookings. It would quite simply be the most impressive corporate entertainment imaginable.

Why do we have to have all Thai removable seats?

I want a stadium that's built for football. One we can be proud of that keeps what we have at Goodison. I really be gutted if we lost this.
