The most important player we ever signed.We would have been relegated if it wasn't for Super Kev arriving on loan.

Gone all teary eyed now.

Roy Vernon made it look easy, which it was. He just stood somewhere central near the penalty spot waiting for a cut back from Young,Collins, or Tommy Ring or another,and passed the ball into the net. And I still say he wasn't offside against Inter at GP.

Without Super Kevin Campbell that season i dread to think where we would be, possibly like Portsmouth, possibly Leeds but I'm certain not in the position we are now. A true Everton number 9 and a better player than I thought when he first signed.

I was only a kid, but mad on footy and knew all the names of players abroard, not now tho, dont even pay attention to whats going on outside EFC. No idea he would be just a massive signing, only fond memories of Super Kev.

Very important player for us at the time and I would say he is in the category just below the Legends of the club. I'd have him in the same tier as Cahill although I think overall Super Kev was even more influential for us than Cahill due to keeping us up that time and contributing to a Derby Win at Anfield.
