Ive got that first pair of Raybans you posted. Sound they were, until scratchville kicked in.

On a pair of mafioso Topman ones now or something. I make them look sound like.

Maui Jims are the best

Maui Jim Hula Sunglasses £185.91, Maui Jim Kukuna Sunglasses £190.80 ... Maui Jim Shoreline Sunglasses £151.65, Maui Jim Stingray Sunglasses £107.12 ...

hardly in the "wont slit my wrists after i've sat on them" price range though. bear in mind that these will have to withstand a wembley goal celebration, a cup lifting celebration and a visit to the hotbed of hooliganism that is the family stand, those foam hands take everything out.

finally found some of what i used to have, in the hazy vault of my memory that is the time i spent living close to amsterdam, i have somehow misnamed them and instead of pandemonium they are in fact "KILLER LOOP PANDEMANIA" or "PANDEMONIO"

i had them in gold satin with brown tint, always wished i had got the gold shinies with the gold mirror lenses. all i have to do now is find some cheap ones.
they are the comfiest, least light polluting of all i have owned.

The shades are important here in Texas. I am a backer of Bolle. Several of their styles work with my Rx.

I've also quite liked the amber tinted lenses that I tried most recently (rather than the grey or blue/green lenses). I thought the amber would let too much light through but that's not been the case at all. What I like though is that they seem to drastically improve visual acuity toward dusk and dawn.

what about in daylight ? do they not make it all a bit bright ? thats what i've always thought when i've tried with that shade of lens, i can get what you're saying about approaching dusk but wtf are you doing wearing them approaching dawn ?

I dont' find the amber to be too bright for me but I think some people are more light sensitive than I. Since they are prescription, I wear them whenever driving during the daylight hours. That would be coming out of down to approaching dusk.
