I missed the pen so maybe it was bad but this reeks of "Sunderland is going to pay because we are so tired of Liverpool pulling this kind of crap"

Judge for yourself, penalty was ~14 mins on this video

Don't think it has got anything to do with Liverpool, Sunderland players made a huge song and dance over what was a clear penalty and under the rules should really have been a red card as well (not that I agree with the double punishment of a last man tackle but still by the letter of the law etc).

Baines was delayed from taking the penalty for quite a while and Pantillimon also stood on the penalty spot doing the "I know where you are going to shoot" routine, although not all of that is shown on the video.

So, so poor.
I think the nasty head bang he received against West Ham has put Lukaku off headers

Oh, I don't know. He scored a cracker against Liverpool in the 3-3 draw a couple of months later. Went like a bullet.

Edit. I don't know the first quote got in there. Not something I was trying to do.

I think we should have been able to do more to win the game rather than moan about a red card. I mean the red really helped vs swansea the week before didn't it?

We have lost our cutting edge we started with at the start of the season. Perhaps it is down to injuries or whatnot but when we started this season we looked like every attack was going to be a goal and always looked deadly in front of goal. Now we are labouring a lot more instead of simply producing the killer passes or luakaku getting the chances (or taking) to look like he will score every time he gets near the ball.

16 shots, 7 on target should be enough to win any game.

Similar against Swansea, 17 shots, 3 on target. We're doing the right things it's just not working out for us at the moment.
