You don't live in a city full of them mate, that's why.

Southern reds are worse than scouse reds. Fact. Even the ****tiest of ****house scouse red understands the history between the two clubs. End of the day, in the city, families are split. Down here they dont have a clue. Its worse.

It's called rivalry. Of course we're obsessed. I want Everton to do well first and Liverpool to do badly second. I'm not going to apologise for not wanting our local rivals to do well. It doesn't mean I go beating up kopites or out, I'm genuinally friends with a load of reds.

I just think it'll be wonderful when the bastards don't get to hold the 18-5 over us all anymore.

Thats not what Im talking about. Of course I want Liverpool to do badly. But activly wanting united to win just so Liverpool fume is just a sad state of affairs. That has nothing to do with a Liverpool match, or Liverpool's league position. No matter how bad the rivalry gets between Everton and Liverpool, I will never ever want United to do well. The enemy of my enemy is NOT my friend. Scousers wanting mancs to win, do me a favour.

Growing up in a golden era for both clubs made me realise how much it hurts when they succeed and vice versa....
The sad thing is (for both clubs) success by proxy is the game we play today...

i.e we wan't united to smash their title record - they wan't Chelski to give them another year of parity at the top and let them cling on to their increasinly distant glory years...
Personally I wan't United to beat Shalke/Barca to go 4 up (one behind) them.....
I know it's twisted, but it's the only way to curtail their massive over-blown blerty egos and put them in the place in the grand scheme of things (2nd)..........

This is absolutely spot on.

O god you all want the mancs to win to spite Liverpool. You not think when they say we are obsessed with them that they might be right. I couldnt give a **** about Liverpool. I fume when they do well, yes. But would I activly want the scummy mancs to win just to spite them? No. They can both fall into a pit and fight eachother to the death. No preference.

were you in liverpool when we played wimbledon? the way those overblown gits were actually HOPING they would beat us and put us down, i know a few decent Rs. sadly, they are in a minority. the sooner the clueless ones are brought to heel the better.
personally, i dont give a toss about the mancs or anyone else, i dont have to live with them or even share a city. unlike the spawn of satan.

I lived in manchester for a year. They are bells. Liverpool are indeed the spawn of satan though. But I just dont agree with trying to take the side of the lesser of two evils. They are both as bad as eachother.

I seem to remember some of their fans had planned a 'Everton gone down party' that year as well - shame they had to cancel it :)

but i dont share a city with one of them.

IMO There are more level headed and constructivley objective Man U fans about (neville on here for instance) - the amount RS fans I have come across with the same attributes I can count on one hand - Fact.....

Yet another rs penalty, anyone know how many they've been awarded this season ?
Think that was kuyt's 13th penalty of the season.
