I was just wondering whether anyone could point me in the right direction in regards to Sunday/Saturday/Wednesday league football.
I used to play for Stockport County when I was young and got released and now I'm just thinking about playing for the *hits and giggles.
Even if its just 5-a-side, I dont know anyone which still plays it or who is interested. (y)
 

There's a thread somewhere in the Ale House called GOT Football my friend. I'm on ze phone, so it's a bit of a pain to try and find it, sorry. Think they play 5 a side

You sound far too good though, so they'll probably hate me for mentioning that.
 
If you fancy a holiday, our team over here just won the 2nd Division with a 9 game winning streak to take it out last day of the season. We love to drink and love to win.

haha, i checked that out. There in a little 5 a side league. Might see if I can have a few games with them if they need one.
Dont worry, I won't be that good now, this was a good 5years ago.
 
If you value the ability to walk do not play in the Business Houses or Walton & Kirkdale leagues. A Saturday league, the Zingari, is probably the best for standard of football, safety, facilities etc.

We've been playing down the pits for a bit now. Now and again we're a bit short of players. You're more than welcome to come down and have a game with us. Keep your on on the thread around tues/wed as we play thursdays.

We were trying to playing either 5 or 6 a-side amongst ourselves on a monday too but we struggled for number more often than not. I might see if I can get it going again in the new year, or enter another side for a monday in the pits. Again your more than welcome to play, especially if your thin and fast, cos we're not.

PM me your number and I'll make sure I send you naked,... err a message if there's a game goin.
 

Got a new team lined up for March, haven't played 11 a side since I left the RAF so I'm starting my fitness regime now!

I've got Hearts On Fire on constant repeat and I've rented a derelict farm in the coutryside for my training.

Played 5 a side last night and then went straight to my Sunday teams training session.......aching like a biatch today.... I'm 37 ffs...about time I grew up.
