Sky Sports 1, 4 complete knobheads sat around a ridiculously small table with every newspaper going, time to talk about Everton, so they completely ignore the football and decide to spew the rubbish out of their horrible mouths of how "David Moyes deserves a big club".

I binned SKY Sports off a year ago. I take it this is the usual sacks of [Poor language removed] like Shaun Custis, Brian Woolnough etc?

They are the football equivalent of Richard Littlejohn.

couldnt believe the big club comments myself using the barcodes as an example, a team that hasnt won anything for at least 30 plus years, there chairman is hated by there fans and we have more chance of being bought than they have.its true they are a well supported club and always hail the new manager as the new messiah but a bad run and they turn like a pack of wolves on them ask big sam, so if thats a big club they can just [Poor language removed] off

We are not considered a big club anymore, thats the sad fact. Surely your all aware that football started when the Premiership moneytrain began. Everything that went before that was warmup. Its a sad, sad day when "experts" consider Newcastle a bigger club than us, simply because they have a bigger ground.

Everton Football Club is a professional English football club located in the city of Liverpool. The club competes in the Premier League and has contested more seasons in the top flight of English football than any other. Currently managed by David Moyes, Everton have won the League Championship nine times — the fourth highest of any team.

Newcastle havent won anything for over 50 years. I cant see them ever winning anything again. If maybe a few of these clowns spent a little time looking at our club, they would realise that if we had even a portion of other teams wealth we would be amazing.

Exactly. There was a time when clubs like Derby and Nottingham Forest used to compete on the same level as Chelsea, and Manchester City were better known for their fancy away kits than the unliklihood of being able to remember who they'd signed in the last transfer window and where on the globe they'd come from.
Fact is, in terms of achievement it'll be a long time before Chelsea get close to Forest.

Too right. I had to laugh last week when that result between City and Forest was seen as a giant killing act. It was, of course, in the present context. But the achievements of a club like Forest dwarf City's. The reporting of that result last week really underlined the chasm between the perceptions of the football industry and its town criers and the genuine football fan.
