Player Valuation: £100m
Usual links this week:

Reo Cooker = 7 million

Anyhow you know yourself all not true, however the reo cooker link is in a few of the papers!

Would like Reo-Coke here.

Smith is a no chance, he wont leave.

Nugent, well Nugent is Nugent

I read that about Reo, all the hate mail that he has been recieving from Hammer's fans has apparently forced his hand and he wants to leave the club, and we are the supposed favourite's to land him for around 7 million.

Nugent ~ according to reports he has already signed a pre- contract as a promise that he will sign for Everton on July 1st, hope it's true, imagine having 2 Everton strikers playing for England at the same time, i ain't no Monty but i dont think that has happened before, in fact i know it hasn't.

Reo Nohoper, no thanks I much rather have Fernandes. The guy had a bright spell last season and has been crap this, that is why he is getting the hate mail in the first place.

Nugent has no need to sign any pre-contract agreement, although it is possible within 12 months of the termination of his present contract I think, he is a blue and he will come here, end of:P

As for two Everton forwards playing for England, it has been a harder task than you might think because Scots have dominated our main attacking positions, Dunc, Sharpe, Young, The only big successful English centre forward in the last 50 yeqars has been Fred Pickering, circa mid 60's

It seems that it is six months before the end of his present contract which actually runs out 31 July 08. That makes the story crap. But if we leave him at PNE for a further year, Nugent can become a wealthy lad as he will be a free agent post 31/07/08 and sign for muchos doshos at GP but less than what we'd have to play PNE(y) Food for thought

I like Reo Coker, hes got so much energy and is a box to box midfielder. Hes strength is unbelievable for someone of his height and still at only 21 years of age is captain of the under 21's and his club. Any player that is made club captain at the age of 18 (when he was at Wimbledon) has to have a bit about them.

Fernandes would be my number one choice but if the ownership issue becomes an issue I would love to see Reo Coker here.

What are you trying to say Mont, that the Tabloids get it wrong occasionaly ? :P

Do they, WOW.

As for NoHoper mick, no thank you. Most independent reports coming from that part of the world say his attitude stinks, we've got enough with VDM, keep him away from GP. Even if it was wrong and he was an angel who would you rather have, Manny or this flash in the pan.:dodgy:

According to reports in the papers Stubbs WILL be offered a new 12 month contract on the back of his form this season, Carsley on the other hand may or may not take the offer of a new 12 month contract, and may wait to see if another club comes in with a better deal.

Did any of you see the report in a Sunday paper, AJ is apparently being lined up for a 14 million bid by Arsenal and Spurs.

They can go and [Poor language removed] off.

I appreciate Reo Coker as a player, he is a tough s-o-b that gets from box to box that would definitely add to what we have got.

As for his attitude Monty like you said earlier- dont believe all you read!

Is he worth £7m though?

Coker or Fernandes? - Even though Fernandes would probably cost about £10m.

I rate Reo Coker as one of the most promising midfielders in the premiership. He is by no way the finished article but he is still only 21, I personally would would rather pay 7m for him than 12m for fernandes.

If there is no truth in the claims, Tony Cottee being one who has questioned his attitude, then when did he have anything like a decent game all season IMO he is a donkey mick, just being a tough s o b doesn't make him worth 7 mil, but I would like to be proven wrong

Id prefer Barton myself to reo-cooker especially in the bad ass stakes! Hes got that Dunc persona goin for him - hed wreck everyones head except his own supporters. Overall though i think we will regret the oppurtunity to sign fernandes for years if we pass it by. Eight million was alot for AJ andit looks a bargain now and all that. With the money pouring into the ganne at the moment 12 million in a season or two will be realtively the norm soon enough. While the lad is still only 21.

He has a good physical presence already when he gets a little bit experience and coaching i think he will be a good tough little player to complement his skill! remember how easily Arteta was knocked of the ball when he first came. fernandes is going to be something great!

Id be happy with perm fernandes, Nugent and two promising wingers i think we could really be a force with some width creating space for attakers in the centre!

We need width, be that from some decent wingers or some top quality full backs. Valente is ok at attacking but apart from him all of our full backs fall into the 'dependable' category.
