Inigo Martinez. Left footed ball playing centre half, young too. Michy Batshuayi, 20 year old striker very highly rated. I'd happily spend the 20 million on those two. A partner for Stones and a striker to lead the line for many years to come.

Then pad out the squad on frees and loans. Barry for starters, traore on loan again, and possibly Ince for 2-3 million compo.

Think you'd be lucky to get change from 20 mil off in Inigo tbh mate.

He is probably the second most highly rated young defender in the world.
 
Something similar to this may happen?

Barry - Free transfer
Batshuayi (love to have Lukaku but doubt he will join due to his price tag) - £8m
Caulker - £8m
Deulofeu - Loan
Rodwell (don't actually want him but given we need a bigger squad and he won't cost much) - Loan
Tadic - £10m
Traore - Loan

Hibbert and Vellios will leave on free upon expiry of their contracts in June. We also sell Gueye, Junior and Duffy to recoup some cash.
 

From the relegated lot there are 3 that stand out for me that I would take.

I'd rather have Marshall instead of Robles and even possibly Howard

Then Medel is incredibly under-rated, does the same job as Barry but he's younger and he would be an incredible addition alongside McCarthy

Finally Redmond is an exciting prospect and could be picked up on the cheap when Norwich go down.

Wouldn't take up that much of the budget and it could leave us with a sizeable amount for a LM and a striker but I doubt we would sign any of the above anyway.

Lundstram, Duffy and Ledson promoted
With what we already have that would give us a pretty big squad with little money spent

We need to be concentrating on getting real quality in up front

Doesn't make much sense to be honest though. His stock has dropped significantly since going there, he's a year older and he's just got relegated.

Let's start the bidding at a Phil Jagielka style 4.5m.
