Would love it if we could be in with a shout of signing this lad on a free come the summer, he's class! Love how when he wins the ball he doesnt play the simple pass, he looks to go forwards. Would be the type of signing to really help take us on to the next level IMO.

He's off to Man City in the summer though. We can't compete with the money they can offer. No chance.

We should have that lying about if we make 4th or 5th honestly. We've had a negative net spend over the past 10 years. If we can't go out and spend a little bit extra for making a real run in Europe then there should be no quarter for the board.

We should have enough to sign Lukaku, Barry, a clever door unlocker, and center mid cover. Then fill out with loans.

6th and Europa League is almost guaranteed, i say it looks like 75% we will be in Europa League, 20% Champions League and 5% no Europe at all

Champions League means different type of targets (more money with quality over quantity signings)
Europa league means different type of targets (quality will be important, but quantity will be more important)

So we have to wait and see if we end up in the Champions League or Europe League and based on that we will know what kind of window we will have

I'd take that all the live long day. Everton and reality I fear are the things that get in the way of what we are entitled to though.

If we signed Barry & Lukaku, maybe most of our money would be gone.....but then we will just loan 2 more in their place for next season....its a cycle.

Not saying I expect it. Just that I think it's what we require to push on from where we are.

This is a bit of a dream season - United and Tottenham crumbling, Arsenal look like they may collapse as well. We can't expect the same going forward and need to improve ourselves massively to keep pace and push on.

If we don't this summer (and have made Europe) then I think it's proof we never will under current ownership.

Think this is a good shout, he's got to be looking for a way out and he's a decent player. Him and Barry would both be good signings, with Barry's importance to our team I think we should definitely be looking to sign him permanently even if only for a 2 year contract or something, whilst Garcia would provide depth and perhaps push into the first team.

Lukaku for me is a must buy, though I'd say £25 million max, he's definitely worth it and is only going to improve. Also, i should hope he loves Everton by now. If the boy has any sense, he should forget the CL for the moment, sign for us and fight for it with us. If in some years he's a worldie and we aren't offering him what he needs then he could move on I guess, and I'd respect that, but to go back to Chelsea imo would be suicide for him.

That's more realistic for us.

I've heard Javi Garcia and/or Jack Rodwell will be moved on from City in the summer. Ideally, they want Fernando, but Cheik Tiote is their backup plan. This is Man City we are talking about though.. I have no doubt they will get their man (Fernando).
