I think it's probably fair to say Hibbert has been on at least 25k a week for the past decade.

13 million pounds is what he's taken from the club in wages. Not even a goal to his name. Even Tim Howard has scored for crying out loud.

Let that sink in for a second.
Time for him to go

what other player has commanded 25k a week for a decade without ever needing a raise who you'd rather have?

I can't wait for Hibbert to rise, like some goaless phoenix, to turn everton into a modern Sacchi's Milan powerhouse in 2028

Coleman was playing for Sligo Rovers and probably earning minimum wage before he came to Everton. McCarthy was 'only' playing for Wigan, and the prospect of selling the worlds greatest CDM (Fellaini) for McCarthy was seen as an abhorrent one to most people on here. Fortunately, McCarthy is now the world's greatest CDM, and we have Besic in reserve who is also due to become the word's greatest CDM. So selling Fellaini didn't turn out too badly, and we actually ended up replacing him with a better player for less money, which is something I feel could be easily achieved once again with Coleman

I've got no problem with Everton taking advantage of who the buyer is, just like we did with Manchester United and Fellaini, who ended up paying almost 10 million pound more than Fellaini's buy out clause (the same buy out clause that absolutely NOBODY was interested in activating), but they will be overpaying, drastically, just like they did with Fellaini.

Anyone paying over 20 million for Coleman is being robbed. I'd be absolutely mortified if Everton went out and spent 20 million pound on a player like Seamus Coleman.
Would you also be mortified if Everton paid £34m for Luke Shaw, £65m for di Maria, £17m on Ashley Young or £20m on a keeper? I would too. But that is the kind of dosh utd throw around. Why should we be the only ones to sell at a fair price. I rate Coleman at about £15m myself, but he is worth whatever a moneybags club will pay, in this case I wouldn't let him go for less than £30m.

On his day, and if you only need a right back to defend as if his life depends on it and nothing else, he was quite ok.

But in the modern game and with European aspirations, he's nowhere near what is or was ever needed.
For sure, Seamus is a lot more exciting.
