Mirror (I know it's not that credible) said Palace want £15m which is laughable.

What is the highest transfer fee of a non English international defender?

Mangala to City I think, circa £32m or one of the PSG Brazilian defenders, David Luis or the other one forget his name.

That £15m mentioned in the Mirror is probably a response to our 'Ogbonna is our number one target' story that we clearly fed to the Echo yesterday.

I mean the highest transfer fee that a club paid for an English CB who ain't got a full international cap.

Palace fan here in peace.

Why do you think we would accept £8m for our best player? Scott Dann is one of the best central defenders in the PL, I really believe that, If he was playing for a more fashionable club he would be Englands CB alongside Cahill, we have money in the bank and no offence but we finished above yourselves last year and from when Pardew took over mid season i think we finished 6th or 7th.

If you want to buy him it would have to be a silly offer that we simply couldnt refuse.

£10 buys Caulker who is [Poor language removed]

Ive read some comments about him being poor on the ball? I can only suggest you watch him play, he is very assured on the ball and can pass aswell as any centre half ive seen.

Why would you expect to get a top 10 Premier League side's best player who is in his prime for £3m? Have you even watched him enough to come up with this valuation?

£3m typically gets you a less than average player, a youngster or an unproven/risky player. Dann is none of these, he's a solid player who's been plying his trade in the Premier League for years. £8m is a fair valuation.

only about 1/3 of his career, Lukaku has more than double the amount of top level (top league, europe, internationals) games than Dann has yet tons say he is inexperienced.

No off topic in this thread please or you know what's coming

Answer me this honestly, would you rather have Stones or Jags than Dann?

He's from Liverpool though isn't he?

If he wants to move back then you guys might have to accept about £6m.

Well done for finishing above us mate. That means you're now much better than us.

You may have noticed how much better we were than Man Utd last season.

Your man you're talking about there is a scouser. Ask him if he thinks Crystal Palace are better than Everton.

Now bow your head in the correct manner who we will take him for free.

His pass percentage isn't great but that could be more down to the way Palace play rather than the player.
