I’ve been very skeptical on Gnonto because 1. we don’t have much to offer upfront, 2. Leeds won’t want to do us any favors, 3. we know Leeds really want to keep him, but if we can genuinely get him I think we should 100% prioritize him (we should work on multiple transfers of course).

From the times I watched Leeds last season, he was really impressive. His touch and skill on the ball is well beyond any of our players, plus he’d add a lot of quickness.

I think this is a myth also. Why risk the full on melt down of the fans and lack of match fitness for a few weeks salary? It is totally counter productive. The effect they could have in the early games is surely worth the few weeks pay even by BKs logic

Think it's more to do with brinkmanship and dealmaking to be honest - Bill likes the bargain bucket leftovers at the end.

I don't see whats wrong with it myself he's just saying what he thinks is the case obviously theres something in it otherwise it wouldn't be reported in so many places but that doesn't mean he will sign in the end.

We've already had that deep level of Analysis from Michael Owen. I think Myers would go more down the Chris kamara route of "I don't know. I've not seen anything".
