I get the concern but if they are only 12 month contracts and do the job next season then if the financials are looking better next season Everton could look for more potential in the signings and players to develop.
I don't like that approach one bit, but like I've said before, it wouldn't surprise me at all if we just sign experienced players on short contracts, in the hope for survival and once we get to BMD, alot of our squad will be gone and we can start afresh. And I'm even counting Dyche in that scenario.

This club needs a total reset ( from top to bottom )

The question is ' Can we take that risk !!
 
Gomes is going to sit on his big fat contract until he leaves us on a free. Top work again Everton
