Michael Keane
Holgate
Iwobi
DCL
Gray
Townsend
Coady (Dont take up the option of signing him)
Maupay

I guess Mina and Doucoure are gone also.
Possibly Onana too

Some of them will be hard to shift due to wages and there complete shitness but we need the biggest overhaul of the squad there's ever been, similar to Forest this year.
I agree lots of dead wood there, but we're never going to be able to replace them all in one window.i would imagine any player out of contract will leave. Can't see anyone cueing up to buy Keane or Holgate. Shame Mona is going but he's just noth available enough. Someone might take a punt on DCL, but again never available, so we won't get much for him.

Then we have to replace these players.

What is everyone's thoughts on Coleman? As much as I love him, I think it's time we let go. I think it's time for a new era now and being a bit more ruthless with contracts. Tom Davies has earned a great living here for the past 7 years but doesn't warrant a new contract. Got to stop with the sentimental stuff now.

I genuinely believe these will be the easiest to get rid of, we know how bad they are but there will always be someone who thinks they can get the best out of them.

Just looking on Transfermarkt

Some grim reading on there, like Keane, Holgate, Godfrey & Maupey all grossly overpaid & contracted for 2 more years…

Can‘t see Dele or Gbamin or Gomes on there. Aren’t they still on the books?

It's because they're loaned out

If Coleman can play like he did this season then it’s worth keeping him

It all depends on how bad the injury was

We are in trouble. We need to square off FFP. That means offloading wages and bringing in lower wages. Really tricky.

the one thing that Moshri got right is that we need more income through better facilities. Need to survive FFP until then.

long summer I suspect
A lot of the heavy lifting on FFP has been done now though. Our worst year (18/19) is replaced this year by 22/23 which probably represents a 100m improvement in the position. Still need to be sensible but the belt tightening and player sales of the last couple of years has done a lot of the work.

LB: Parisi or Truffert
RB: Walker Peters or Justin
CB: Salisu or Kotchap or Lacroix (Wolfsburg) + Coady

CM/CAM: Le Fee (Lorient) or Fofana (Monaco) or Elmas (Napoli) or Caquret (Lyon). Midfield is the least important imo.

RW: Bakayoko or Chukwueze or Nordin
ST: Balogun or Gyokeres or Wahi or Jackson. Could include Simms in a deal for gyokeres.

Id take the ones in bold.

What I don't get is how loads are saying move on onana cos he's not good enough but then say we'll get a massive wedge for him. Surely if he isn't good enough nobody would pay a massive wedge for him?
Isnt it amusing. Yet the same posters slate him almost daily. Id only sell if the bid was £75mil+ as with the 20% profit clause we'd double our money at £75mil.
There's just one simple thing I want from this transfer window

SELL IWOBI
Imagine selling him and signing Bakayoko, Pino, Johnson or Chukwueze.

Massive difference.

…we need Coleman next season. He‘s obviously a huge influence in the dressing room & I quite like the thought of him & Patterson as our RBs.

Doc has signed a year extension.

….if the right offers come in, I think there’s a few that could be moved on to bring in more reliable and effective types;

DCL - I’m a big fan but we have to be hard-nosed about squad management & if a club is willing to pay good monies then selling should be a consideration.

Iwobi - I certainly wouldn’t give him a big bucks new deal. He offers little threat & I’m not convinced the game matters that much to him.

Onana - I loved him when he first arrived but disappointed with his input when the going got tough and we most needed him. Linked with some decent clubs, I wouldn’t dismiss offers if the monies is right.

We shouldn’t fear selling ANYONE. Other clubs sell their best players and get by fine, it’s the reality of modern day football and we really need to get with the times as a club and fanbase. I don’t want to see any fatalising and doom mongering over selling anyone this summer, not one player in this team should be held up as irreplaceable. We have to get better at replacing our better players, but we certainly shouldn’t be calling it the end of the world when any of them are sold. We need to start bringing in money as a club from somewhere, it’s the only way we can have any hope of moving forward.
