Tutto Salernitana...stating Torino, Nice and Salernitana all want to sign Maupay in the summer.

Sadly no mention of them signing Keane :(
Yeah as much as i want keane to go if dyche still here next season think they 3 going will be mina, holgate and coady before him.
Lol we should be doing everything to get him back to first team. Have you not seen his performances lately?? What are you smoking bud
Was crap at cardiff is doing great now in the 2 division in france, was a risk to put a deal that low would have liked a sell on clause aswell tbh. Still a good deal is what we should have been doing with the u21 players here trying to get a fee instead of holding on to them without any chance of first team appearances

According to the transfermarket website, they spent 38mil and brought in from
Sales 76mil
The interesting thing is, the difference in P&S rules from the prem to the championship. A lot of clubs who have gone down, like Burnley who also looked in a bad way financially. Big clubs like villa and Newcastle going down with high earners.

Maybe somebody knows exactly how it works but is there some sort of crossover period, because no prem team is complying with the championship rules straight away.
There is a crossover period in the EFL P&S rules in the sense that you will always have the larger PL limit (35m a year) will apply for any year you spent in the PL - so although the EFL limit is £39m over 3 years if you spent 2 of those 3 years in the PL your actual limit will be 35 + 35 +13 = 83m. So this stops you from being penalised overly harshly for money you spent in the PL.

But obviously you need to bring your numbers down to comply with the EFL limit hence teams go down always sell bigger assets. But the crossover period combined with the generous parachute payments are usually enough to prevent major issues for teams going down, and hopefully will be for us if we sell the higher value / higher earning players appropriately.

I was thinking about what we could do in the summer today, pending we stay up and we have no transfer ban, and it’s honestly depressing. If we stay up we’d be probably the least attractive team in the league to join, apart from probably sheff Utd and the other promoted team, players would probably rather play for kompany at Burnley than dyche for us.
Last summer we had the Lampard factor that got us onana and tarkowski, we haven’t even got that now. I honestly can’t see anything other than another relegation battle next season if we stay up.

Worrying about next season before we even finish this season. You need to cheer up.
