We wanted a winger anyway so Cornet on loan if Iwobi goes wouldn’t necessarily rule anything else out. He’d basically be a versatile replacement for Iwobi and we might still look for an attacking / creative player on top.

He was also top in giving the ball away, losing the ball in dangerous positions, people running past him, putting over horrible floaty crap crosses, crossing to nobody, having shots off target, having shots on target that are as powerful as my nan etc.

Iwobi’s stats looking good are the combination of us being terrible going forward except half a season of McNeill and a couple of Doucoure goals in the run in and the fact that he had so many failures some of them had to come good
