It’s a show of ambition really- a huge risk at the price quoted, but the fact that Marcel is willing to go with such a ludicrous deal says a lot

When Harry Maguire is 80m and Ake is quoted at 75m, 65m for Zaha almost sounds reasonable.

To be honest we have no paid over £30m for a player this this summer... so might have some in the kitty.. plus net spend which I’ll work out after the window..

This got me thinking, could be complete rubbish like. But Watford want Sarr the winger from Rennes fir £35, but apparently don’t have the money.
Palace have also been linked. So we put a bid in for Doucouré, which gets leaked to the media, knowing full well at £32mil it will be rejected,
To give palace a push to sell Zaha and put them in a better position for Sarr.
