The real concern is the defence. Baines Jags and AW are currently irreplaceable and cannot do two games a week, as shown recently.also it's looking likely we will have no wingers other than the kid from Split and Lookman.

How has this been a good window overall if we have known for ages what we needed and failed miserably in bringing those players in ?

Because we have a good keeper, good defender in and every other area of the pitch is stronger than last season bar up front. Just we have a Champions League side with a Championship strikeforce

Overall this has been a good window, just ending a bit badly as we have known for ages what we need and failed miserably in getting those players in.

It's has not been good based on the exact way you ended the sentence.

The squad is not as good as it was last season, we will struggle for 7th
