Its pretty clear we are in desperate need for an out and out number 9. I don't believe Lucas Perez is anywhere near what we should be looking at.

However if you'll read between the lines, its not essentially the lack of quality from the two I mentioned. Its merely the fact that we are hours away from the window closing until January (a window you rarely do good business in) and its clear we are absolutely brasic !!

Brasic meaning we will only afford a Shane Long or a Sam Vokes...... Lucas Perez.

This has been a bit underwhelming. Thought we would at least get a striker in and not a last minute deadline day loan as we hadn't got anyone else. Bit pathetic really when we have had months and months to do it knowing Rom was going, I know we have got Rooney and Sandro in but I don't think that cuts it with the fans.

Just cap the day off when Barkley and McCarthy leave later.

Not saying we don't need to score goals. Just saying everyone is going into meltdown over the striker issue when we've significantly improved our team defensively.

Overall, not conceding in a game is more important than scoring in terms of the points it gets you.

You're bringing rationality to the pitchforks and flaming torches of deadline day.
